SUPER EAGLES MATCH BONUS INCREASED TO $10,000

The Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation, Musa Amadu has explained why the Glass House decided to revert the Super Eagles match bonus to $10,000 from the $5,000 it was before. This was done to motivate the players to go all out and surpass the African benchmark at the World Cup. 

The announcement comes at a time when the body is dealing with a budget deficit and cash crunch which necessitated the reduction in the first place. He was quick to point out the shortfall but said the NFF hoped her corporate sponsors would step in to save the day. Is money the only kind of motivation that can work for the team? Especially now that the NFF doesn't have it?
