Come May 17, 2014; Arsenal first-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, has expressed his hope of making his first FA Cup appearance of this season, when they play Hull City in the final of the competition. Szczesny’s compatriot Lukasz Fabianski has been preferred by Arsene Wenger and he has not disappointed as he helped the Gunners to the final. The FA cup is Arsenal's only chance of ending their 9 year trophy drought.

He was easily the hero in the semi-final win over Wigan, saving two penalties in a shoot-out that ensued after 120 minutes. “I would love to play but it’s the manager’s decision. I think Lukasz has done really well and he deserves a lot of credit. I’m an Arsenal fan and I just want us to get the trophy" Szczesny said. Fabianski also said he would “definitely be disappointed” if he was overlooked for the final. Over to you Wenger, just bring the trophy home.
