National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the President Jonathan led government as shameful. He said the PDP is responsible for the poverty levels in Nigeria today. He claimed a party that has ruled for so long and had nothing to show for it ought to be kicked out. He called SURE-P a sure pit of corruption and theft. He asked Nigerians to vote right and defend their votes.

Speaking at the 6th Tinubu Colloquium to mark Tinubu's 62nd birthday, Lagos State Governor, Raji Fashola said Nigerians must be careful who they vote for. "We gave the top job to someone because he said he had no shoes, not because he had any experience or qualifications. You must decide whether you want people that will spend all their time in churches, mosques and abroad instead of doing their jobs." It was titled 'Summit of the Common Man'. Happy Birthday to the Jagaban of Nigerian politics.
