KWANKWASO TOOK MY CAMPAIGN MONEY AND DID NOT VOTE FOR ME

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday took a swipe at Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano. He accused him (Kwankwaso) of embezzling allowances meant for Kano delegates during the 2011 PDP presidential primary and that he also refused to vote for him. Jonathan recalled that during the presidential primaries at the Eagles Square, Kwankwaso left when it became clear that he had won. 

Kwankwaso, had earlier said, “I regret voting President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011, as he has done nothing to move the nation forward”. He stated this at the All Progressives Congress elders meeting. Reacting to Kwankwaso’s comment however, Jonathan said “I read in the paper that the Governor of Kano state said he regretted voting for me. Let me tell my good people of Kano that Kwankwaso did not vote for me and the Vice President. 2015 is real!
