Former Military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari has lambasted President Goodluck Jonathan over his recent visit to Kano State for a People's Democratic Party (PDP) rally organised barely 24hours after the Abuja bomb blast. The blast claimed 71 lives and left over 200 severely injured.

The All Progressives Congress leader, voiced his disappointment via his Facebook page and he described the president’s action as very unfortunate and unpresidential. An excerpt from post reads: “More so, other Nigerians are not happy with Jonathan over this and they've taken to the social media to scold the president. “While the country is still mourning, President Jonathan, went to Kano state to welcome former governor of the state, Ibrahim Shekarau, to the PDP.”
