The Nigeria Football Federation has presented a budget of over two billion naira for the prosecution of the world cup in June. This amount, it says will propel the team to surpass the feats of other African teams in the competition. The submission was made by NFF secretary, Musa Amadu.
He said he expected the government to release N1.2b while the N800m deficit will come from FIFA's statutory allocations. He reminded the house committee of the exploits of the national teams last year and said this showed the commitment of the body to guarantee an excellent outing.
