APAPA TRAILER PARK, 76% COMPLETED

Alhaji Kabir Abdullahi, Director Federal Highways (South West) has said the construction of a trailer park in Apapa would soon be completed. It would house the large number of trailers that enter the Apapa and Tin Can Island ports. It would also serve the Atlas Jetty Cove which is the NNPC depot. He promised it would make life easier for the trailer and tanker drivers while benefitting other road users in the area. 

He also said the construction project includes a pedestrian bridge and access roads up to Mile 2. He also mentioned that the Oshodi-Apapa expressway construction had reached 44% and phase II of the construction would start soon. He listed other road projects being undertaken by the Federal government in the South West to include Lagos-Ibadan expressway, Ota-Abeokuta road and Sango Ota-Winners' Chapel roads.
