The Anambra gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the November 2013 election, Dr. Chris Ngige has brought about 50 witnesses to testify in his petition for the elections to be cancelled. Represented by his counsel, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), he said the witnesses were pruned from 101 to 50 so as to speed up the trial.

He then presented further exhibits which we prayed the judge to admit as evidence but they were struck out after the defence counsel objected. The tribunal is sitting in Awka and is led by Justice Ishaq Bello. The Governor, Mr. Willie Obiano is being represented by Mr. Onyechi Ikpeazu and Mr. Osita Nnadi both SAN. Will the courts favour Ngige again?
