A suit has been filed against the Federal Government seeking the refund of all monies paid by applicants during the recruitment exercise. Four of the applicants in the just concluded exercise have filed the application on behalf of themselves and other applicants. They also want damages worth N1m to be paid to each of them and N50m to be paid to the families of the dead applicants.
They also listed the Attorney General, Minister of Interior and Comptroller General of the NIS as defendants. They also asked the court to bar the defendants from spending any part of the money paid by applicants. About time Nigerians started dragging the government to court eh? Will the court deliver a landmark judgment?
