Retired AC Milan and Italy legend, Paolo Maldini has decried the present situation at AC Milan. He is furious about how the club has been run in recent years which has seen the club's fortunes dwindle. This has made a team that was once an European elite become an ordinary one that sits 11th on the Serie A log.

Maldini who spent 24 years at the San Siro, won 6 Scudetti and 5 European cups during his stint said: "I feel a mixture of anger and disappointment. All the good work is going down the drain and Clarence Seedorf cannot save the day". The effects of the European economic crisis have made sure Italian teams have less to spend on transfers. Could AC Milan owner, Silvio Berlusconi being in jail be responsible for their present fate or has the team really lost steam?
