NIGERIA ATTRACTS $2 MILLION TECHNOLOGY STARTUP FUND

Kenya has been at the forefront of tech startups in Africa for a while now. It has been largely attractive to venture capitalists who believed Nairobi is the new hotbed for technology investments. South Africa was always in tow as Johannesburg raised her own set of geeks to compete with the Kenyans. 

Nigeria appears to shatter that record as it is seemingly the new darling of startup funds. Leadpath made $1.5 million available just recently and 88mph is ready to invest $2 million in Lagos. The amount is double what it has spent in Kenya and South Africa. Nigerian geeks are just too hot to handle eh?
