Can working with bright screens be stopped? They are all around us, office, home or your Smartphone, you can't run from the screens. That's why you should take care of your eyes so you don't lose them to bright light. Limit your exposure and make sure to take frequent breaks from prolonged use of backlit devices. Doctors recommend the 20/20/20 rule; for every 20 minutes, give your eyes 20 seconds break and look at something 20 feet away.
