Adamawa state governor, Murtala Nyako has approved the suspension of four government officials indicted for fraud in the state's civil service. Two of the men were in the e-payment department of the state's Accountant-General office. The other two were with the Post Primary School Management Board.
It is a commendable move by the governor who recently joined the APC. We however know that there are many more of such and we'd like the Governor to intensify efforts in not only getting them suspended, but they should also be prosecuted. Corruption is a hydra headed monster that is depriving Nigerians dividends of governance. Do you think this is politically motivated or is he being sincere?
