Plateau state governor, Jonah Jang has said there is no more room for old politicians in the state. He said this was because they had refused to mentor the younger politicians in the state and give them a platform to showcase what they could offer to the state and her people. He claimed he had been mentoring a lot of young politicians in the state.
The remarks were made during his 70th birthday lecture. He said structures were being put in place so that the state would be delivered to the younger generation of politicians. This is necessary so that Plateau state can get to the next level. He therefore called on all stakeholders to work together to make the dream come true. Sen. David Mark and other notable dignitaries were present at the event.
