Former Abiola Babes and Super Eagles midfielder, Friday Ekpo has lambasted those making calls for Stephen Keshi to call up some players against his wishes. He says this will only disrupt his plans and that of the NFF as the build up to the World Cup in June continues. He says they should leave Keshi alone to do his job as he had done a good job thus far.

It should be recalled that another ex international, Mutiu Adepoju asked Keshi to recall Ike Uche and Osaze Odemwingie. Same calls were echoed by Austin Okocha who also added Yobo to the list. Ekpo says such calls will only amount to undue pressure on Keshi. He claims those asking him to call the players will be the same ones calling for his head if things go wrong. Do you think Ekpo is right? Should Keshi be entirely trusted?

USA '94 Ex international, Mutiu Adepoju has called on Super Eagles' coach Stepphen Keshi to bring back IK Uche and Osaze Odemwingie to the team for the world cup. He said this after the team's friendly against Mexico, which ended in a goalless draw. He says Keshi must find a way to work with the duo as he's sure they'd be willing to do the country proud in Brazil.

He believes the duo are the Eagles' best strikers at the moment based on their rich vein of form in their clubs. Their wealth of experience will also come in handy, he says. Keshi decided to drop IK Uche after he claimed he doesn't play to instructions. Osaze has never played under him. Do you want the duo back in the Super Eagles? The decision is Keshi's to make.
