Former Military Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari has lambasted President Goodluck Jonathan over his recent visit to Kano State for a People's Democratic Party (PDP) rally organised barely 24hours after the Abuja bomb blast. The blast claimed 71 lives and left over 200 severely injured.

The All Progressives Congress leader, voiced his disappointment via his Facebook page and he described the president’s action as very unfortunate and unpresidential. An excerpt from post reads: “More so, other Nigerians are not happy with Jonathan over this and they've taken to the social media to scold the president. “While the country is still mourning, President Jonathan, went to Kano state to welcome former governor of the state, Ibrahim Shekarau, to the PDP.”

A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has said that PDP has all the answers regarding Boko Haram. He said the party knew about the formation, growth and sustenance of the deadly sect. He then asked Nigerians to hold the PDP responsible for the needless loss of lives.

He pointed to the fact that the former National Security Adviser, Late Gen. Andrew Azazi stated that the internal crisis in the PDP was responsible for the insurgency. He also said it was established that Vice President Namadi Sambo had unhindered contact with the sect. Is the PDP truly responsible?

Former Military Head of State and Leader of the opposition All Progressives Congress, Gen. Buhari has revealed why he accepted the centenary award presented to him by President Jonathan. He claims it is due to its significance to the nation's unity. His acceptance came as a shock to most Nigerians considering his party's perception of the Goodluck Jonathan led federal government.

It will be recalled that there was shock in the polity when Buhari was seen on national TV at the celebrations. People feel his presence was at cross purposes with that of his party especially as the 2015 elections draw nearer. The celebrations also came at a time when 59 kids had just been massacred in Yobe. The General didn't fail to talk tough about the level of corruption in the government and refused to comment on whether he will contest APC's presidential primaries. Do you agree with the General?
