The Lamido Adamawa created a huge drama at the National Conference on Wednesday by declaring that should Nigeria break up, he and his kingdom will relocate to Cameroon. Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Mustapha who is one of the 13 monarchs at the conference blasted some of the delegates for their conduct since the conference started. He said no one has the preserve of jingoism and no one should try to steer the delegates off the course of their duties.

He was asked to speak on a debate which he abandoned to make the comments above. He accused some persons claiming to be President Jonathan's loyalists of contradicting the President's order. Shouts of "Point of Order" filled the air but the Chairman of the conference, Alhaji Idris  Kutigi didn't observe them. The sitting was adjourned till Monday. Drama just dey start na, no be Naija we dey...

BLAME NORTHERN GOVERNORS FOR BOKO HARAM, NOT ME - JONATHAN

A stern warning was handed to Northern governors not to blame the Boko Haram insurgency on the Federal Government anymore. He said the insurgents were poor people who didn't go to school and were recruited by the evil ones. He said the governors are supposed to provide free and compulsory primary and secondary education for their people. How do you blame that on the Federal Government? 

Constitutionally, the Federal Government is in charge of tertiary education. I have made sure that there's a university in each state of the federation. We need to stop blaming everything on bad leadership. Who are the leaders? Some have spent eight years and could not provide basic education yet blame the President. How many of them have provided employment opportunities for their people? About time we started asking serious questions of our governor’s right?
